I just received an order of your Tortuga serum. Thank you.

Looking at your products brochure that was enclosed I noticed the Solar RX and went online to get more info on it. However, it is advertised as "nano" ingredients. A few months ago, Consumer Reports did a large article of the issue of nano-sized particles--particularly in products you put on your skin---and how they could be dangers in the small particulate size of them being able to penetrate deeper into the body. The concern was that not much research on this has been done to know of any long term negative effects, etc. The information was enough to cause me to not want to purchase anything that is "nano" sized. Have you researched this area that you could provide more information?

Bob, our chief technologists and Wendy’s husband is very involved with the scientific and NGO community in regards to this issue. He is considered by the EWG and other as one of the foremost experts on Nano-Zinc as a sun protection. International studies as well as our own university research show no evidence of absorption of Zinc Oxide in any size. Researchers are looking at other nano particles, but have concluded that zinc is not among the concerned nano ingredients. Further, as the EWG position reversal points out that the sub-nano chemicals used in most sunscreens are even a bigger concern.
