It seems to me that too many people have skin problems and that no one knows what is causing them. It must be something else. I went chemical free a couple of years ago (as best as I could). My skin cleared up, the itching stopped and I no longer get rashes. Interesting that when I travel and use hotel soaps, everything comes back.
The chemicals in everyday products are the subject of very heated discussions. We like to be practical about it by saying to people that if you are using something that comes in contact with your skin and it causes problems, stop using it. If the problem goes away, it is more than likely the product you are using. When it comes to hotels, you don't know what they are using to launder their sheets, clean their floors or disinfect the bathrooms. We do recommend to people to take their own soap, shampoo and pillow cases. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about the sheets other than taking your own full coverup bed clothing.
