Wew started the Clean Green forum because of all the email we received asking questions about what people can use to create a greener and cleaner world for themselves. We thought of the forum because many of the questions were the same. Even though we are young (10 days old at this writing) we have received over 3,000 views.

This forum is about and for you. Please help us with your ideas, suggestions and comments.

Thanks!

Bob

Bob, I think the forum is just great. I like these sort of things and belong to a number of them. It always takes time, but it is funny how it just starts to snowball.

The only thing that we need beyond what you provided is more content and that just takes time.

So, I will be back to you when I think of something.

In the short, thatnks for a great place to chat with others.

Jackie

I was just wondering if you guys might consider some sort of program where we could send our bottles back in for recycling or refilling when we have used them up? I hate throwing them away!
Thanks!

Hi Jenny, Thanks for the suggestion!

There are a couple of answers why we cannot offer refilling or return for recycling.

1) We are an FDA inspected manufacturing facility and return for refilling is prohibited for microbiology reasons. To be able to do it and remain a clean and green product, we would have to use steam to cleanse the bottles and that would destroy them. If we used glass, that would work, but then we have a huge liability issue.

2) The reason we do not offer a return for recycling is the carbon foot print to return the bottles via truck, plane etc would be much worse than having you recycle locally.

Our products are 100% recyclable and your local community should offer recycling at a local level

Regards,

Mickey
